Labor Union Representation

For over thirty years, our firm has proudly served as both local and national counsel to a number of our nation’s largest labor unions.  Such representation has involved participation in contract negotiations, arbitrations, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, and other federal and state agencies, as well as extensive litigation in both the federal and state courts.  In addition, we have represented both employees and executives in employment-related problems and disputes arising from wrongful discharges and disciplinary actions, and denials of pension, insurance and other benefits. 

We have taught many classes in labor and employment law and other subjects for the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University and other leading educational institutions.  On many occasions, we have also had the honor of being chosen to serve as instructors of other lawyers in labor law topics for continuing legal education classes sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
